Worked with a team of interns and designers to develop a real-time navigation assistant using human-centered design methods for people with blindness or low-vision. Utilized conversational user interfaces, vibrational haptic feedback, and real-time data networks for granular navigation indoor and outdoors.

Industrial designer/product engineer. Turned ‘waste’ materials and recycled plastic into lighting, furniture, soft-goods, POP displays, and more. Experienced with prototyping, vendor sourcing, and client management. Duties included 3D modeling parts for production, approving prototype samples, as well as hiring and managing design interns.
New Jersey Institute of Technology Adjunct Professor (Jan 2016- May 2017)
Teaching ID-341, Sustainable Materials and Processes. The course has students take a critical look at materials and processes in manufacturing, and evaluate alternatives based on research and experimentation. The course encompasses a range of approaches that enhance the value and intelligence of design as well as honing research, critical thinking, and presentation skills via lectures and discussion, in-class activities, research projects, film and field trips.
